Curate and close party and event guests. Up-sell catering and event packages. Create outstanding guest experiences within the pub, including, but not limited to, catering and event clients, member event clients, community event clients and charitable event clients. Communicate professionally with past, present, and future guests exuding the Tipsy Putt values. This is a sales position.
Must be a self-starter and go getter
- Lead development and tracking of party and catering guests.
- Communicating and booking event clients at Emeryville location.
- Customer tracking and responses on all platforms.
- Responding to questions & correspondence on: Google, Yelp & Events Line
- Networking events with the sole purpose of party bookings and making event planning contacts
- Community outreach with the purpose of party bookings
- Bar crawl communication, bar crawl inclusion
- Identifying event client opportunities such as large organizations with multiple departments and selling them on our event spaces
- Effectively communicating our event packages to obtain small, medium and large corporate clients
- Assistance & support with e-newsletter campaigns, event and website postings
Proficiencies:
- Sales and closing skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability in Triple Seat Software, Apple iOS, Google Drive Suite, Word / Office Suite
- Analyzing data and presenting performance metrics.
- THIS IS NOT A REMOTE WORKING POSITION. THIS IS AN ON SITE SALES POSITION. THIS PERSON IS EXPECTED TO BE ON SITE MEETING WITH CLIENTS IN PERSON, ASSISTING IN EVENTS ON SITE IN PERSON AND NETWORKING IN PERSON.
- 100% communicate with guests and team members verbally, graphically and in writing.
- 50% walk and stand.
- 10% Reach, bend, stoop, wipe and lift up to 50 pounds.
- 40+ hours per week, sometimes without consecutive days off.
- Minimal travel required; however, travel may be needed in situational events.
- All travel must be approved / justified. Travel only needed for buyout clients that require a Marketing & Events Coordinator onsite.
